About Me

With over 15 years experience, I have built an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing and maximising the return on investment for clients across a wide range of industries. If you are looking for a digital marketing expert to drive your business forward, please book an appointment at a time that suits you.

Most of my career has been spent working in sales & marketing and I have held leadership positions in rapidly growing companies in Ireland and also in Australia during a three-year stint in Melbourne. I have also spent a year living and working in Spain and my work has taken me to the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark. I have travelled extensively through parts of South-East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Central America. I am a married father of three young children. My third level education includes a First Class Hons. Degree in Business (GMIT), a Masters in Journalism (University of Galway) and a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics (UCD).  In 2024, I was an independent general election candidate in the Galway East constituency in Ireland. I believe this life experience has given me a well-rounded perspective on the challenges of business, empathy for different contexts, a diverse set of ideas and a critical mindset when it comes to making important decisions.

Why work with me?

In short, I know how to get things done without breaking the bank! As a business owner, you already know that marketing can be hit-and-miss and doesn’t tend to come cheap. Plans to hire a full-time marketer are often constrained by budget and the risk of a bad hire not having the desired impact.

This is where I come in to help to devise a successful marketing strategy that produces real results and gives you the confidence to make that full-time hire when the time is right.

I have a passion for seeing indigenous Irish businesses reach their potential both nationally and on the international stage and work to help them achieve that. I thrive on solving problems and work with businesses to identify suitable strategies to achieve their goals. These strategies typically include a mix of SEO, PPC, email and content marketing, data analytics and marketing automation with appropriate tool selection to suit your business budget and growth ambitions (email platforms, SEO, CRM etc.)

Areas of Expertise

Business Strategy

Small to medium businesses are often built on the hard work, grit and determination of the founder with a focus on 'doing' rather than 'planning'. A strategy that outlines a roadmap towards longer-term goals is important in order to unlock the potential of the business and pre-empt risks to achieving these goals.

Optimising Performance

Decisions around resourcing for growing businesses tend to be dynamic and often reactive. Taking the time to step back and analyse resource allocation is necessary to ensure all available resources and personnel are positioned to have their maximum impact. This includes timely introduction of appropriate technology rather than purchasing software subscriptions to fill a void, which can often compound operational problems as well as incur a recurring cost.

Data-Driven Decision Making

We specialise in collecting, organising and interpreting data from various sources to derive meaningful and actionable insights aligned to business goals.

Marketing Automation

We help businesses select, implement and optimise software platforms to streamline, automate and measure sales & marketing tasks. The goal is to enhance efficiency, personalise customer engagement and drive conversions through data-driven strategies, while ensuring scalability and ROI.

Core Values

These are the core values that drive how I operate:

  • Accountability – Everyone in positions of responsibility should be evaluated and answerable on their performance.
  • Authenticity – Being true to yourself regardless of external pressures.
  • Autonomy – The right and the capacity to make informed, uncoerced decisions.
  • Integrity – Being honest and showing strong moral principles and character.
  • Respect – Treating everybody equally regardless of their standing in society. Respect is a two-way street, anything else is reverence, which I don’t do.
